Every dollar, accounted for.
Your proceeds, net of fees and reserve, move to your own connected payout account and out to your bank every two business days. Every order, fee, refund, dispute and reserve movement appears as its own line, so any payout can be traced back to the orders behind it.

From the buyer's card to your bank.
Zonipay collects each payment as merchant of record, deducts its fee and the reserve, and transfers the rest to your own connected payout account, opened in your business's name. From there it is paid out to your bank automatically. Card payments are processed by Stripe.
Order paid
The charge is captured and the order appears in your dashboard as pending.
Funds settle
Once the payment settles, the amount moves from pending to available.
Payout runs
Every two business days, available funds net of fees, refunds and the reserve are paid out automatically.
Your account
The payout lands in your bank account, from your connected account. A payout.paid webhook confirms it.

A share held back, then returned.
A rolling reserve, set according to your volume, applies to every account. A portion of each payout is held for a set period, then released back to you automatically, while newer sales take its place.
- It covers refunds and disputes that arrive after an order has shipped and been paid out
- The percentage, set by volume, and the holding period are stated in your merchant agreement before you sign
- Every amount held and every amount released is its own line in your reporting
- Terms may be reviewed as your account builds history
Monthly statements. CSV on demand.
At the start of each month you get a statement that reconciles the month: gross sales, refunds, disputes, fees, reserve movements and payouts. Any range can also be exported as CSV, one row per line.

How often are payouts made?
Every two business days, automatically, with no request needed. Your dashboard always shows the date and amount of the next payout.
Which bank account do payouts go to?
Each merchant has its own connected payout account, opened in the business's name during onboarding and linked to the business bank account. The bank account must belong to the business that applied, and changing it later requires verification.
Will there be a rolling reserve?
Yes. Its percentage is set according to your volume, and it is written into your merchant agreement with the holding period before you sign. It is reviewed as your account builds history.
Who handles sales tax on my orders?
You do. Sales tax, VAT and similar taxes on your sales remain your responsibility. Your statements and CSV exports give your accountant the figures, order by order.
What happens to a refund after the order was paid out?
The refund is recorded against the same order and deducted from your next payout. It appears as its own line in your reporting and CSV export.
Can my accountant get the reports?
Yes. Monthly statements and CSV exports can be downloaded from your dashboard and shared as you like.
